This project utilized my space planning skills by challenging me with the task of creating a heavily-branded environment for an existing corporate identity. There are two main areas of the office: Product Development and Marketing. Between those two spaces, there are many areas of flexible collaborative work stations. The separation of the departments shows an understanding of work place privacy and the inclusion of open work spaces attends to the need for collaboration.
CORPORATE DESIGN

This project taught me about thinking on a large scale and creating spaces that optimize collaboration and encourages creativity and productivity. The space planning optimizes collaborative spaces mixed with separate spaces for each department

The Marketing department of the Ski-doo corporate office was created with the snow mobile as the concept and the color yellow was derived from the existing brand of the company. There are areas for individual work as well as tables and easily movable chairs to allow collaboration between the employees.

Part of the design for the Ski-doo corporate office incorporated a custom CEO Office. This office allows for views to all parts of the office. The centralized location allows a chance for interaction between employees and the CEO as well as keeping employees productive

Ski-doo as a company is based in team work and innovation so collaborative spaces with views were incorporated into the office design to promote productivity and allow the opportunity for creative thinking. These spaces allow the users the flexibility of working outside of their office and brainstorm with colleagues.
